Voicemail goes not unread

Hi,


We have Unity 4.2 running as Voicemail system integrated into an already deployed AD. Therer is one OU for voicemail only users name+DN.


So far this should be supported with Unity. Everything works fine, except that If I retrieve new messages, the messages go to unread after I hang up. Only if I delete the message the MWI goes away.


Has anyone seen this before?

This is configurable with the Advanced Settings Tool in the Unity Tools Depot. There is a setting called "Conversation - Mark messages read upon hang-up". Set this to 1 and messages will be marked as read when you hang up.

I just realized that starting with 4.2, this setting is configured on the subscriber or subscriber template. In Unity web admin, go to the Conversation section of a subscriber or subscriber template. There is a checkbox that says "Mark a message as saved upon hangup or disconnection". If you need to set this option for multiple existing subscribers, use the BulkEdit tool in the Unity Tools Depot.
