I am planning to migrate our wired network to wireless network with Cisco 1250 series AP and 4400 Series WLAN Controller. I have 50 Nos of VLAns in the current network. For authentication I am planning to use CSACS server. How can I provide redundancy in Wireless LAN controller and authentication ( ACS)

Wireless LAN Controllers can be configured for fail over. A fail over condition occurs when a primary controller goes down or fails for any reason. Then, a second controller takes over the operation. There is a good document which explains how to configure redundancy with WLCs. The document is available at

If you are looking for redundancy, make sure one WLC can support all of the ap's then get a second WLC. As for ACS, you can have 2 ACS and sync the database.
