You are right.
As per Cisco: %VIP-3-BADMALUCMD: Unsupported MALU command [dec], arg=[hex], pascb=[hex]
Explanation: The Route Processor (RP) or the Route Switch Processor (RSP) has forwarded an unsupported command that the Cisco IOS software does not recognize.
