codec 729 for extension calls

Hi,

Would like to ask how and what the steps of configure extensions using codec G729 instead of codec G711 ? At the moment, have a few phones via 2 MB link registered to a CCM remotely thus when make calls not advised to use G711

You will need to configure 2 regions and set the regions to use G.729 for calls between them. Then, create 2 device pools and assign the 2 previously created regions to them. Assign these device pools to phones in the respective locations.
