This should seem like a trivial matter, but I am simply trying to figure out if I am working on a Cat 6000 or 6500. I am doing work remotely so I can't just go and take a look at the switch.
The people on site claim that this is a 6500, but what I have seen seems to indicate that it is a C6000. Here is a show version from the switch in question:

Hi Jim,
Looks to be Cat6000 but to make sure can you issue a command "sh idprom backplane"

If I am interpretting that output correctly, it looks to report as a 6509. Curious since if I look at the unit from a neighboring switch (PROD4) it reports as a 6000 in CDP neighbor:

Hi Jim,
It may report as Cat6000 as a switch class but the chassis which you are having is for sure Cat6509.
Can you paste the output of "sh cdp nei int
