Longest prefix match routing PIX 525

Can someone tell me if routing is the same on the Cisco PIX as it is on a Cisco Router?

Does longest prefix match still apply when selecting a static route?

For example, if I have the following:

route dmz 192.168.251.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.251.1 1

and

route inside 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.1.1.254 1

Will 192.168.254.5 still choose 192.168.254.1 (dmz) as next hop?

Sorry, typo - Will 192.168.251.5 still choose 192.168.251.1 (dmz) as next hop?

Yes the pix will still select the longest match route.

Jon

Thanks Jon. Do you happen to have any docs that state this? I can't seem to find anything...
