Hi
I have a remote router with srst and cue. the cue is a backup for when phones can not reach main site unity and are in srst mode. there is no intergration between cue and unity.
incoming call goes directly to unity greeting during normal operation.
I want call to go directly to cue AA when in srst mode.
I set up following:
ephone-dn 200
number 275
call-forward all 7231
7231 is cue aa.
this worked but when I went out of srst mode, the incoming calls continued to go to the cue aa instead of the unity greeting and i needed to remove the ephone cmd.
not sure why the ephone-dn continued to operate.
any ideas on this would be appreciated.
thanks

Rob,
This continued to work after normal operations were restored because the ephone-dn command creates a hidden dial peer which continues to exist even when not in SRST mode. You could use the "default-destination 7231" under "call-manager-fallback". This would send calls other than DIDs to registered phones to 7231.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Brandon
thanks for the explaination.
router is running srst/cme so it uses telephone-services not cm fallback.
there are no did numbers. incoming calls come in via main number which goes directly to unity aa and plan is to send them to cue aa when in srst.
any other way I can fwd inc call to cue aa without effecting normal operation?
thanks
Rob

Rob,
I'm not aware of any way to do this using SRST/CME.
