I passed the old CCNA Intro test, does it count towards the new CCNA?

I passed the CCNA Intro test back in July 2007. I did not complete the ICND part. Does the Intro test count for anything towards the new CCNA testing?

I have this problem too.

As far as I can see on the certification progress screen, your old Intro exam is valid for 3 years. To get your CCNA, you will have to pass the ICND2 test. You will not, however, be CCENT certified by passing the old Intro test.

You are correct. Per Cisco's website...

"The INTRO 640-821 exam can be combined with the ICND2 640-816 exam to complete CCNA certification for as long as the INTRO exam is valid-up to three years from date that you pass the INTRO exam, per standard policy."
