Unity failover 4.2(1)

Is it ok to do failover with the Primary as windows 2000 and the new secondary as windows 2003. I understand the hardware, Unity version,SQL Version must be the same but the Doc's don't clarify if the OS has to be the same.

The OS should be the same as well. 1:1. I have not tried it with 2000 to 2003, but i would stay with the same OS, etc.

Thanks for the reply- I did get an answer from TAC and they say should be no issues if one server is win2k and the other is win2003.

Wow! I did not think they would support this. Interesting. I know it's just SQL replicating, but Im suprised they supported this.
