Hi, I wanted to know if we can enable Call Waiting on an Cisco IP Phone when on a call through an H.323 gateway with FXO port to PSTN

Hi, you would be able to hear the call waiting signal in the IP phone, but then you can only hang up in order to take the new call.

Reason why, to switch between calls you would need to do hookflash to PSTN, and that is not possible to do as far as I know.

If you want all the nice features, etc, get ISDN lines into the GW, in that case you would get a new call into the phone, be able to put on hold, switch, etc.

I did not find any way to do it with Call Manager, but you can with Call Manager express. Here is the link:
