i am wondering if i can do better CDR on CME.
currently i am using the following:
logging to a syslog server. customer does not want local calls or the AA calls (those are all showing); can i fine tune it or use a third party you recommand.

As you have discovered the parsing of this info is the tough part :( You might want to look into Cisco Partner "Stonevoice" that has a nice application for doing up
reports/graphs etc. This will do what you want and more;
