Multicast for Paging

Guys,

im setting up a paging app and having a little issue with multicast. we have two locations connected viaFibre. head office is working properly but im not getting any multicast traffic to the remote location. the remote location is receiving text but no audio

this is what i have on my head office AND branch routers

Interface 0/0.1 - pim-sparse-dense -Voice

Interface 0/0.2 - pim-sparse-dense-Data

Interface 0/1 - pim-sparse-dense-WAN

Also on the switches, i have enabled igmp snooping.

Notes: Network Design is as follows

1. 2 Vlans, voice and data

2. router on a stick for both locations

3. 3560 switches

4. WAN is Fibre

5. Paging System resides on data side.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You really want to purchase the Cisco Press Multicast book.

You have to check your multicast routing and some other things.

thanks,

i got through eventually. my voice vlan was not joining the multicast group for whatever reason so i forced a join and paging came through clear.
