32768K bytes of Flash internal SIMM (Sector size 512K).
Configuration register is 0x2102 (will be 0x2103 at next reload)
Is this end of Life. And if it is, is it just the chasis?
We have on it
1 2 Catalyst 6000 supervisor 2 (Warm) WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE
2 2 Catalyst 6000 supervisor 2 (Active) WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE
3 48 48-port 10/100 mb RJ45 WS-X6148-RJ-45
4 48 48-port 10/100 mb RJ45 WS-X6148-RJ-45
6 48 48-port 10/100 mb RJ45 WS-X6148-RJ45V
does this mean I have to change the chasis + fan + power supply but still use the modules if they are not end of life.? It also looks as if the WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE and WS-F6K-MSFC2 are also EoL is this correct?
How do I find out if the fan is eol. I cant seem to find the informaton for the fan on the switch?

End of life is generally regarded as the date of the last day of support.
Yes you can wait and you can upgrade only parts of your setup if you like ie. you could upgrade the supervisors (which may well require a new fan and power supplies) and keep the chassis.
If you have no immediate need for additional functionality that requires later supervisors etc. then you can stay as you are.
It's really up to you but certainly the Supervisor 2's will become harder to replace if you have major failures.

Hi
Your chassis is EoS (End of Sale) but is supported until 2012 - see attached
This link also covers your fan in all probability.
Your supervisor are again EoS but support will continue until 2012
As you say your'e modules are fine. So do you need to upgrade - not necessarily. Everything is still supported but yes if you wanted to upgrade you would need new chassis, fan and probably power supplies.

Ok
SO end of Life is November 01, 2005
End-of-Sale Date is November 01, 2006
Last Shipment Date is February 01, 2007
While
End of software maintenance Releases Date and Last Date of Support is November 01, 2012
So I can wait till 2012 to upgrade to C6509-E on the chasis?
