is it possible to make custom reports, that contain fields from a custom database in UCCX 5 or do you still need Crystal Reports to do that?

I have this problem too.

Cisco Unified CME 4.2 and later versions support interoperability between Cisco Unified CME and Cisco Customer Response Solutions (CRS) 5.0 and later versions with Cisco Unified Call Center Express (Unified CCX), including enhanced call processing, device and call monitoring, unattended call transfers to multiple call center agents and basic extension mobility, and IP IVR applications.
