Connecting Analog Telephone with Cisco IP Telephony

How can i connect my existing PBX having 200 extension with the CIsco IP Telephony Solution. I checked VG 248 but it only allows 48 Ports. IS there anybody knows about it.

Hi,

Because it is quite expensive (about USD 150 per port or more) to use analog gateways to connect basic phones, and for about the same price you can get a basic IP phone, most people prefers to do a technology jump and not use the analog phones anymore.

Anyway in your cause you would just use four units of VG248 to cover 200 analog extensions.
