Hi,

Please advise - on 3560, can I configure as one etherchannel members the two different types of ports - Gigabit SFP and regular FastEth?

Many thanks!

No I think you can configure EtherChannel with up to eight Ethernet ports of the same type

Hi

As Milan said, the speed and duplex need to be the same to form an etherchannel.

Attached is a link that describes all the restrictions when creating an etherchannel

Thanks for your response.

If I limit the speed on the Gig interface to 100meg, will I be able to form an eth-ch with this interface and a normal FastEth?

Yes it should work if you limit the speed so that they are equal on each each .
