As the title, do you make voice in 11a and data in 11b/g? or vice versa? Thank you for sharing the experience!

If this is an autonomous access point. Creat separate VLANS for data and voice and only assign them to the radios and SSID's you want them on.

We use LWAPP APs and definitely we will create separate vlans and SSIDs for data and voice. What I want to hear is if you assign data and voice to different radio bands(a and b/g)?

Yes! voice on A, data, guest, etc on B/G - voice is much improved.

Thank you for that information! If you have a/b/g/n network, do you still seperate voice in a/n band and data in b/g/n band? You need n in 5G band to have channel bonding and other features. Thanks!

Is highly recommended to use 5 GHz for voice due to the typical initial utilization on the 2.4 GHz band, more known interference on 2.4 and less channels on 2.4.
