Cisco 2620 problem

I was given a cisco 2620 router, once I power it on, it stops at snmp agent on host 2600 is undergoing a cold start. Then after a couple of minutes it says failed. But I'm unable to type any commands, it just sits there. Any ideas what the issue may be?

I would set it to NOT load the config and see if it boots with the defaults to make sure its not a config issue.

Here is a guide to do password recovery, same process, but you are not going to load the config once the router boots, so stop at step 8. Do step 14 and then do a wr mem or copy run start.
