Can't browse certaing sites through dialer interface

Hi all. For the past 30 days my users cannot browse to a short list of sites.

The only oddity is that they use a dialer to route the traffic through.

Attached is the config.

The issue started 30 days ago with bellcanada.net.

We have tried using the bellcanada.net DNS with no change in behavior.

Any ideas?

Hi,

please configure under dialer1:

ip tcp adjust-mss 1452.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

This made no difference.

Any other ideas?

My bad, per cisco doc the command goes under the "ip nat inside" interface:

http://cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t4/feature/guide/ft_admss.html

Please let us know if it solves your issue.

I'm using 12.3(XT2) with a cisco 1750 router.

Can I just set MTU to 1452?

The IOS that you have supports the mss-adjust.

The symptoms are typical of the problem, please enable it on the ethernet inside and if doesn't work, at least it's ruled out.

mtl01rt01ec(config-if)#ip tcp ?

compression-connections Maximum number of compressed connections

header-compression Enable TCP header compression

mtl01rt01ec(config-if)#ip tcp

This is what I get. No option for mss.

So you were able to configure for dialer and not for ethernet ?

Also can you try "ip adjust-mss 1452" ?

These are the options that I have.

Yeah, the dialer has been in place for two years.

mtl01rt01ec(config-if)#ip ?

Sorry, it should be "ip tcp adjust-mss" under eth interface. If you don't have the option, need to upgrade IOS.

I'm using a dialer interface to pass credentials to the dsl provider.

Ok, were you able to put the above suggested mss-adjust commands in the lan interface ?
