CSC - Cant get access to management port

I have an asa 5510 running content security filtering, however when I try and get access to the content security management interface to configure it I am asked for username and password and get the error that the IP Address of the management interface is unreachable. Check the management port settings and network connectivity.


However the management interface was set up on 10.x.x.x and you can ping this address from the ping command within the firewall.

Your configuration is fine. Have you connected the cable to CSC management interface? You will need to connect cable to both, ASA and CSC, management interfaces.
