can you revert on what type of circuit is being subscribed on the G.703 interface ?

Ethernet is not G.703. E1 and T1 are G.703 interfaces, however cisco refers to unframed E1 as G.703.

This is called channelized configuration (propert ITU name is G.704) and is a service that you obtain from you carrier:

controller E1 x/y/z

channel-group 0 timeslots 1

channel-group 1 timeslots 2

interface serial x/y/z:0

ip address ...

hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
