CCM 5.1(3) : License cannot be used after re-installing 1st node

Hello,

I use two Call Manager 5.1.3 (Publisher and subscriber).

The Publisher has crashed, and I had to re-install it.

So I havo to re-upload the license of the publisher and the subscriber.

After that i've added the subscriber license, i've added th server into the Call Manager Administration.

But when I verify in the License Unit Report, the License is not used.

And the subscriber is not detected in the Call Manager Group.

Have i to re-install the subscriber?

Do you have any issues?

is the CCM service running in the SUB?

if the CCM service is not running it's expected that the license won't be used since it's a CCM node license (which means will handle calls or at least signaling for other devices)

i have tested this at my lab which also is a 2 server cluster, if i have the service running on both servers i have no free ccm node licenses, if i stop CCM in the SUB i get 1 free CCM node license.

also if the service is not running it's not recognized under the CCM group page since it cannot handle calls so there is no reason to show it up (the reason is you might be using it just as a TFTP or MOH)

check in serviceability if the CCM service is activated and running in the SUB, if not, activate and you should be using both licenses now
