Basically call manager installs two databases CCM0300 and CDR. CCM03000 has all the configuration information. CDR has all the Call Detail Records and Call Diagnostic Records in it.

as mentioned, when you install CCM you will get a CCM DB and a CDR DB, the CDR DB has the raw information that comes from the flat files generated after the calls along with CMR data if enabled

if you install the CAR plugin another DB is created. ART DB, this one contains the digested data from CDR along with the binding with the users that have devices associated.

if you look into the CallDetailRecords from CDR you will see the information has no user associated and even the timestamp in in unix epoch. if you go into the ART DB and look into the TBL_billing_data you will see the information easy to read
