Multiple Light Weight AP to a single Subnet.

Hi,

Looking through the text in cisco,

if i am deploying a single wireless subnet of 192.168.1.x

and i had 2 different model of LAP

how should my dhcp server config be?


ip dhcp pool LAP_DHCP

network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

default-router 192.168.1.254

option 43 "???"

option 60 "???"


what will be my option 43 and option 60,

if i do have a 1130 and a 1200 AP and my WLC is 192.168.1.1?

Model of the access point doesn't matter. You can deploy in the same subnet. When ip addresses are provided to the access point through DHCP Option 43 is used to provide Controller's ip addresses to the access points to which they join.
