ws-x6516-ge-tx 6509 any slot?

I have a non-E 6509 chassis, and a ws-x6516-ge-tx that needs to go into slot3. The ws-x6516-ge-tx is keyed, and will not fit due to a different keying (the silver half moon guide pin is rotated) in the backplane connector.

Are there different 6516 versions that don't fit in slot3?

Hi

Not as far as i know. There is nothing special about slot 3 or this module. Perhaps it is damaged ?
