Router failure

Hi everybody,

I'm actually having a problema with a 2800 router. The issue is that it was working well. I turn it off to move from one rack to other, and then it never has come up again.

This is the output of what i see when i turn it on:

Readonly ROMMON initialized

boot: cannot open "flash:"

boot: cannot determine first executable file name on device "flash:"

After this, I am able only to rommon prompt.

I used the same flash memory in other router and it works well...

Is it a hardware failure then?

thanks and regards....

For the symptoms described, my first suggestion would be to make sure that the flash/compact flash is correctly and firmly seated. Then try to boot again.

I did it and the same behavior occurs.

Removed the flash and installed again, the same result....

I Used the flash in other router...and it works well...

I will try a new flash in the router to see what happens....

regards,
