Router ok for BGP tables?

What memory requirements would you suggest for a router receiving full tables? My organization currently uses a 3825 for static-routed, single-homed internet connectivity. In the next several weeks we will be preparing to multi-home by adding another ISP, and I wanted to get opinions on how much memory is enough although I doubt we will be taking the full table.

Here's partial output from a 'sho ver':

Cisco 3825 (revision 1.1) with 1009664K/38912K bytes of memory.

Is this the memory I should be concerned with regarding this project?

Hi,

You need 512MB

240K+ prefixes, 3800 utilizes around 240MB and 40MB IO.

Based on the output I posted above, how much does this router have, and what commands will show me the output I'm looking for regarding memory. i.e. you say I need 512mb...will a 'sho ver' tell me this amount is present in the router?

Your router have 1GB, the maximum for 3800
