Add Another 8 ports Non Cisco-switch

HI

I Want ur Help:

I have 2 oulets in my Room connected to 3550 Switch(vlan 9) but the Problem is i want to add another 5 computers but no enough Outlet waht am thinking is to Add a d-Link Switch 8 ports to the outlets(connected to access-port on vlan 9.now any exta config on the Access Switch to prevent Storm/brodcasd etc?

Hello,

Don't worry, as I'm seeing, you are using the switch inline, I mean that there is no loop! so no broadcast storm to prevent. And all computers connected to your new switch will be in the same vlan on the access port on the Cisco switch which is vlan 9.
