Found MAC address of Interface VLAN on ports of access switch(2950)

Hi,

My network,Catalyst 2950 (as Access switch) has been connected to Catalyst 3560 (as Distributed switch).On Cat3560,i created VLAN interface(layer3)and used this VLAN(access mode) on Cat2950.When i used command "show mac-address table" on cat 2950, i found MAC of VLAN interface on fast ethernet ports(2950).After this MAC found(problem occured),I used ping command to PC connected to cat2950 and found "request time out" more than "reply".When i used command "show process cpu" on cat2950,found "HMATM Learn proc" process 15% utilization.

How can i solve this prolbem?

Kittin,

I'm wondering where does your problem lie. What is the destination IP that you are pinging from Cat2950 connected PC, which gave more RTO's than reply? Also mention where does your destination IP PC reside?
