Solved: RME and NAMs

I've added all of our NAM devices into the DCR and the inventory recognises them as WS-SVC-NAM-2 however it won't do a sync archive.

We are running RME 4.0.5 and CS 3.0.5.

The NAMS are running software ver:3.5(1)

and 3.4(1a).

I've also turned on exsession at the cmd line. The username and password are set, I have not set the enable. SNMP READ and READ WRITE are ok.??

What error do you get trying to sync archive on the 3.4 NAMs? If you perform a sniffer trace while syncing archive, what errors or problems do you see in the telnet session?

Note: NAMs running 3.5 will fail until you upgrade to RME 4.0.6 due to CSCsh27562. However, the 3.4 NAMs should be working.
