IPCCX: cannot change agent config

When I login to IPCCX wed admin and try to change the agent configuration in RmCm sectino, I find the following error message pop-up:

Error while handling the input request.

CRS Administration cannot perform any update at this time because there is an ongoing 'Cluster Mutex acquired by ICD - Resource update.' operation which was initiated by 'login id' at <date/time>. Please try again later.

I can't update the change. Can anyone come across this problem? How to fix it?

IPCCX version is 4.0(5) Enh Build042.

Hi Mike,

if you are using DCD try the following:

Using DCD Administrator

- Check the mutex lock entries in the DCD LDAP:

CCN Apps -> clusters -> [profile] -> Locks -> Locks.00000

- Check that the Lock entries were named as follows:

lockApplicant?empty

lockOwner?empty

lockUsage?empty,

lockUserInfo?empty

lockUserTimestamp?empty

(ignore lockExpiration)

- Confirm values of those 5 entries set to "x".

How to add...

Add 'lockApplicant' entry using these instructions:

- Right click on the Locks.xxxxxxx, and select New ->

ciscoCCNocConfigInfoCES

- Enter the name as "lockApplicant?empty" and press Enter

- In the next window, click on the Add button and in the Enter String value

box, enter "x"

and click OK

- Then OK on the previous window

This should do.

Regards,

Riccardo

thanks, it works.

hello Riccardo,

I have a similar problem.

the thing is I can not add the lockApplicant?empty as I get an error message

"You do not have sufficient access rights to create this entry"

I am logging into the DC Administrator as the IPCC Administrator

What is this error?

Really appriciate the response

Thanks,
