Ws-X6548-GE-TX and Etherchannel

Greetings, I have read several conversations regarding the oversubscription of this line card, and I think I get it, but I have a question. I want to create an Echannel between an HP blade system and a 6509 and 6509E (sup2/msfc2 CATOS/IOS) (supervisor upgrades are in the works for next fiscal). The HP blade has 4 CBS3020s. Initailly, I want to create a 4 port channel between 2 of the 3020s and the 6509s (one 3020 to one 6509, the other 3020 to the other 6509). If I spread the channel ports over the 2 sups, a WS x6516-GBIC and one WS-X6548 (using just one port out of the 8 that form a port group), am I limiting the channel?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this seems somewhat repetative.

In some scenarios, the link flaps when EtherChannel is formed between a Cisco Catalyst switch and a third party switch. Here, the Link-aggregation protocol (LACP) is the only protocol that is supported by both devices.
