Restored Location Server unreachable from WCS

My remote site chose to restore their Location Server to a backup two iterations past. After the restore was complete, the Location Server displayed as UNREACHABLE in the Config Location Servers window of the WCS (Wireless Control System) Which is at ver

sion 4.2.62.0. They consoled into the Location Server and ran the setup script to

set the IP parameters in case they had changed, which they had. They changed them

to the valid addresses and the LocServer still showed as unreachable. They are able

to SSH into the LocServer now and everything looked good. They were able to delete the

LocServer from the WCS. However when attempting to re-add, it says that there is no response and that it is either unreachable or that connectivity credentials are incorrect. They are using the same userid and password that was used to login to SSH with. The WCS was stopped and started and still the same problem.

Any help will be appreciated

Check if the server is reachable via SNMP, if SNMP is configured. Following link may help you
