We have the following problem
The network infrastructure is as follows
6513 Core (Cat OS) - contains 3 vlans - namly 200, 202, 203
The commands used here -
monitor session 1 source vlan 200, 202, 203 multicast disable
monitor session 1 destination rspan vlan 998
3750 distribution Stack 1(IOS) - switch stack is connected to Core with vlans 200, 201, 104.
The commands used here are
Monitor session 1 source vlan 200, 201, 104, 998
Monitor session 1 destination intrface 3/17, 3/18
However we are getting 6 times the rtp packets on the destination. How could we optimize on network so that we have all vlans here spanned with optimal traffic load.

As far as the packet drops are concerned most of times it comes out to be the issue due to ISP or the local connectivity to the n/w.

sorry, I should have mentioned that these are VOICE packets.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say you are getting 6 times the rtp packets. Do you mean on the port you are sniffing ( i am guessing you have a sniffer connected to the monitor ports) you see the same rtp packet 6 times?
If so, try removing the voice vlans from the monitor source on the 3750 and leave only the rspan vlan from the core.
