WAE 512 - Kernal Crash Files Detected Error

I've just run the WAAS Disk check on my WAE 512 (script execute disk_check.sh) before implementing an upgrade to 4.0.15 from 4.0.13.

After the WAE reboots I get the following major alert on the CM

'Kernal Crash files and / or User Core files detected'

Any ideas on what I need to do, or files I need to complete to fix this.

Many Thanks,

Richard

Richard,

There should be a crash file located in the following directory:

/local1/core_dir

Grab that file and open a TAC case (or send it to me). You can clear the alarm by deleting the file from the core_dir directory.

Thanks - that worked great. File on its way to you.

Richard,

Thanks for the file. I can't find any previous occurrences of this type of crash. Since the file was generated under version 4.0.13, it may have been a problem with the way TFO exited as part of the upgrade. I would say that you can ignore this instance unless it happen again under 4.0.15.
