BLF Question

I have set up an expansion module, 7914, with a 7961 phone.

I build the phone template and needed BLF set-up.

I have 9 BLF on buttons 9-18

However, I do not get the visual indication that someone is on the line. The SD function works just fine but I do not see the inidcator.

Is there something else I am missing?

Check the "SUBSCRIBE" calling search space on the device. Make sure that it is set to a CSS that can call the DN's that are on your BLF buttons.

you need to setup SUBSCRIBE Calling Search Space for the end user under user management.

Sorry all I figured this out shortly after setting this up.

I needed to build a preference group, then assign the group to the device and enable the feature.

Assign the button and everything worked.
