You may need to xmodem the new image,
see
HTH,
__
Edison.

Hint:
If you do need to xmodem an image, many of the newer console ports can go much faster than the usual 9600. Very worthwhile to increase console port speed (often will still be painfully slow compared Ethernet).

Hi,
Follow the procedure in this link http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/130/xmodem_generic.html
..the procedure in the link is generic for XMODEM, so ignore those router model mentioned in the link.
