Hi all.

Anyone know if there is a way, when I login to a router via telnet or ssh, to print on screen (like motd message), last succesfully login of the user?

Like on linux...

Thanks

Daniele

IOS does not track login history for individual users. So I do not see how it would be possible to have that displayed at login time.

Rick, with these commands I can track login:

login on-failure log

login on-success log

Now I solve my issue with autocommand con line vty, but I thought that there is a better way.

HI Daniele, [Pls Rate if HELPS]

Naturally, your requirement is different. You wanted to get displayed as how in LINUX.

In CISCO Router it is not possible. But,

"login on-failure log"

"login on-success log"

>> Will generate a SYSLOG message for every Successful Login & Failure Login attempts but this is not same as in LINUX.

Refer the Attachment having the CISCO Login Enchancement feature in IOS.

Hope i am Informative.
