SSH on CatOS - 6500

Hi all.

We want to use ssh instead of telnet to access our 6509 core switch.

Past years there was CatOS images that permitted this (k9 images), but today I can't find them on download center.

Anyone know if there a solution?

On pdf that announce releases, there's a description about these images (k9).

Hi Jon.

We have catalyst 6509 in hybrid mode, so CatOS on Supervisor and IOS on msfc2.

We are looking for CatOS 8.6.x.

Hi Daniel,

It's proably because you have to navigate away from the standard download pages to get to the cryptocraphic download pages.

From Cisco Home Page

Download -> Switches Software -> Lan Switches -> Catalyst 6500 Series Switch -> Cisoc Catalyst 6509 Switch -> Login Page -> Download CatOS system software -> Download Catalyst 6500/6000 CatOS Cryptographic Software
