RSPAN on Layer 3 is it possible?

Hi,

I have the following topology:

3560 <->7600<-->7600<-->3560

Is it possible to transport layer 2 VLANs between 3560 switches? There is site to site VPN between 7600's. The target is to make remote SPAN between 3560's.

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid not. The steps are configuring a remote span Vlan. This Vlan is the one transporting the information between the switches. Having a L3 connection between the switches breaks that design.

For more information on RSPA on 3560, please read:

HTH,

Edison.

That's not supported on 3560 switches.
