Discover Not Starting,

I want to see device 10.9.1.1. It is a 4507. I set it as the seed. I search 10.9.1.*. It's SNMP RO string matches on the config and snmp settings screen.

I get a report that indicates unreachable. I can ping the 4507 from ciscoworks. What should I check?

Check to make sure you do not have an SNMP access-list applied to that community string in the config. If you do make sure the IP address of the CiscoWorks server is allowed by the ACL. Next, make sure there are no firwewalls or other ACLs between the LMS server and the switch which could be blocking SNMP. You can run debug snmp packet on the switch to see if the SNMP requests are actually making it.

I checked the log on the device and it is receiving and replying to the cisco works Ip address.

I have tried to decipher the discovery log but can't figure out what it is trying to tell me. Any ideas?

This indicates there is a problem accessing the devices in DCR. IT also appears you have an old version of Campus Manager. Exactly what version of CM is this?
