Can the CTIOS Desktop client support us running multi-threaded or if we have to run multiple instances?

Hi there,
why do you need multithread support?
CTIOS Supports either Agent mode (single agent) or Filter mode (monitor speciic events) and then events are queued against the client, not sure what multithread would add to this picture.

Thanks! We are looking at running in a Terminal Server / Citrix type environment in agent mode. We are trying to determine the untilization from both a development and processing / memory prospective.

Sorry but as per http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/icm_enterprise/icm_enterprise_7_0/user/guide/icm70bom.pdf
Citrix MetaFrame Presentation server 4.0 and Microsoft Terminal Services are a Server Based Computing (SBC) platforms that
enable hosting of Cisco's CTI desktops applications and allow the deployment of thin clients rather than the entire Desktop.

Release 7.0(0) of the CTI OS Agent and Supervisor Desktops and Cisco Agent Desktop supports the Citrix MetaFrame Presentation
Server 4.0 and Microsoft Terminal Services environments (with some known caveats and limitations). Release 7.1(x) further delivers
native support for the Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Services environments, eliminating many of the caveats of Release 7.0(0).
The agent desktop application capacity of the Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server and Microsoft Terminal Services depends
on the number and type of applications in use.

Thanks this was helpful. I do not see any support in the docs for Sun Ray Server / Thin Clients? Is this forthcoming?

:-) Happy to serve, please remember to rate accordingly useful posts.
On extending support, I do not see any plans, I would suggest you contact your Cisco Sales Rep if you have any compelling business case.

We are using a esx server running lots of vmware sessions, and letting users rdp to that. Works extremely well.

So you are running the CTI Toolkit in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure? We are trying to determine if the CTI Toolkit is supported in a terminal services environment. I was certain it wasn't but now it looks like it is. Can you confirm?
