Fax receipt truncation

Hello,

I have a 2851 GW, integrated with CCM 6.0

we have a few fax machines attached to ATAs and the main fax number attached to an FXS port on the GW. however most of the times when somebody sends a fax, the fax receipt is truncated and it happens randomly.

we had configured MGCP first and we changed yesterday evening to H.323 to have more resources to troubleshoot this issue.

I have a ticket open with the TAC, but it has been useless, we need to resolve this asap, because the business impact is huge

thank you very much for your help

Hi,

Please send output of "show controllers T1". If you have slips, chances are you are missing the required network-clock-participate and select commands.

thank you very much

Here you go, configure:

network-clock-participate wic 0

network-clock-select T1 0/0/0 1

And you will be faxing all along (hopefully)

Please report that to the TAC engineer to help the fellow in fixing next case (it's a common occurrence).

I just issued the 2 commands and I will monitor all day long today

thank you very muchf for the prompt help
