Hi, can anyone help?

Can I sit the SNPA exam without a CCNA qualification?

I have recently done the course thanks to work but am unsure with regards to sitting the exam. I've had a scan around the Cisco web site but can't find any info.

well pete,

m really sorry to say that you cannot give the exam directly for u dont are not CCNA certified.

FOR ANY PROFESSIONAL LEVEL certificatioin you have to give CCNA, yes if u r goin direcly for CCIE level course then no need for any CCNA OR CCNP

That's wrong. He can sit the exam and pass it. However he'll need to pass the CCNA later for the SNPA to be credited to the CCSP. In other words, the order you pass exams is not mandatory, you can mix and match along the way.
