Another engineer and I are having a disagreement regarding the Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Specialist certification abbreviation. We both have the certification, but he says the abbreviation is the same as the exam, AWLANFE, and I say the abbreviation is CAWLFS.

Which is it?

I have this problem too.

Hi Jake,

I plan on taking the AWLANFE soon. Do you have any advice on study materials and need-to-know? I currently hold a CCNA and working on my CCNP, but I'll love to include wireless and voice. Any input will be appreciated.

That was the case for me.

I passed my CCNA, and started with the BSCI. and I passed the AWLANFE.

For the preparation, all what I found is the PEC (Partner E-learning Connection) where I found an interactive course. and I used ActualTest to prepare for the exam.

Like Omar stated. I used the PEC materials on this site. I also took the CWLAT and CWLF courses at Gigawave, and used the class materials to study. Just know both the IOS and Unified Wireless stuff well and you should do fine.

That's good what I saw you are from BERBEE NETWORKS. I remember we tried to use a billing solution offered by you. But by bad luck yo didn't get the projet, it was an IP telephony project. I don't know if you know that ?

Good day,

I passed also that exam, the examn is called AWLANFE, if you pass this exam you get a certificate called CAWLFS. Or you will be CAWLFS (Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist).

Me too I have a problem to make difference between the two.
