Here is what I have done. You can use this for Avaya and Cisco phones. Most of this is auto qos voip trust configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet0/2

description Jack#1406 pp1-2 VP User

switchport access vlan 10

switchport mode access

switchport voice vlan 20

srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20

srr-queue bandwidth shape 10 0 0 0

queue-set 2

mls qos trust cos

auto qos voip trust

spanning-tree portfast

Be aware that there aren't any Avaya phones capable of 1000baseTx.

I have Cisco 3560 swithces and I am also looking to enable QOS for VOIP. Using Avaya.

Below is what I found. I would appreciate if someone can confirm.

ip cef distributed, and enable "auto qos voip trust" under the interface where the phones are connectd.
