Which of these programs do you favor in terms of cost, ease of operation and versatility? I know that Informacast can send text messages to the phone and also send pages. Can ipcelerate do the same? Thank you!

It's hard to pick one over the other :) These are both excellent products and I would be remiss if I sent you one way or the other. IPCelerate does send Text to phones as well as pages. Have a close look at the links I sent earlier to see what other features work best for your environment. For a Campus like ours IPCelerate seemed to really fit the bill.

Well, depends on how you define paging. I have setup the poorman's paging system. Placing a phones in hallways, creating PLAR to them so they autoanswer on speaker phone. Share the lines for that area. Someone can then dial that group of phones, they auto answer on speaker and the paging message is spoken. It works, just not as graceful as a third party tool.

CM6 uses "intercom". This more for direct person to person. Each person can have an intercom number that can be configured for "whisper" or speaker and one way audio.
