Hi all
We have are trying to configure the IP communicator softphone to test if it would connect to our SIP provider from a home based environment
We have managed to set up the TFTP server to upload all the necessary files but cannot see the application attempting to register, at a guess we are wondering if the configuration XML files are correct .
We have used other software applications that connect fine to the SIP provider on the same network so It's not a question of hardware Firewalls or Routing
IP communicator Software Ver 2.1
Cable modem
Fixed IP address
SIP Firmware SIP70-8-31s

BLF/Speed dial doesn't show the current status or state from the Directories of Placed calls, received calls or missed calls.
Administrator configures BLF/Speed dials for a CIPC phone in the same way as for a 7960/7970 IP phone.
None. CIPC 2.1(1) is planned to integrate this functionality.
