I am having problems with some modems dialling out after we converted the analog lines to go through a VG248. Especially the US Robotic older modems - seem to establish a connection and then drop it - for some reason.
modems dont work very well on voip, make sure speed is low. What type of outside lines are you using if its T1 or E1 do show controller command and see if you have slips.
