Is there a way to apply codec G-711 A-law on a pots dial peer on a h323 gateway?

There is way because isn't needed, codec is associated with voip so you set it there.

No, whne necessary you apply the desire compounding type (A-law or U-law) under voice port, and the desired codec under the voip DP where the call goes out.

Paolo,
So there is absolutely no way it can be assigned to pots dial peer, it works only on voip dial peers?
Thanks,
Das.

Of course I meant "there is no way". Thank you for the nice rating, I hope it's understood that my answers are always a bit short because I try to get "to the juice" all the time.
